The bar your guests will talk about.
A 1968 Bedford bar truck with 6 taps and a rooftop beer garden for 16. It rolls up to your venue, farm or paddock and pours all night.
Why couples book it
Not just a bar. The centrepiece.
A vintage 1968 Bedford, converted into a full mobile bar by Flaxton Iron in 2020. It turns heads at every event it rolls into.
- A rooftop beer garden. Up to 16 guests can head up the stairs for drinks with a view. It's the photo spot of the night.
- A proper bar. 6 taps, a keg chiller, a 3-door display fridge and an ice bank keep everyone's drink cold and the queue moving.
- Goes where the power doesn't. It runs off a 3kVA generator or a standard 13 amp socket, so remote venues and farm weddings are no problem.
- Looks the part. Lights, a shade sail and rooftop bar furniture come as standard.

FAQ
Good questions.
Can it go to a venue with no power?
Yes. The truck runs off a 3kVA generator or a standard 13 amp socket, so it's well suited to farms, remote venues and off-grid weddings.
How many people fit on the rooftop?
The rooftop beer garden seats 16, and rooftop bar furniture is provided. The stairs are removable and travel under the truck.
How many drinks can it serve?
It has 6 taps, each fitted with a Bar Buddy for a great pour, plus a keg chiller that holds 7 x 50L kegs (or 12 x 25L), a 3-door display fridge and an ice bank.
What's the difference between dry hire and full service?
Dry hire is the truck with glassware, and you supply the drinks and staff. Full service adds professional bar staff, drinks and ice, and is charged at an hourly rate with a 4-hour minimum.
Do you travel outside Christchurch?
Yes. Setup and pack-down are included within 15 km of central Christchurch. Beyond that, a transport fee is added to your quote.
How much does it cost?
Every event is quoted individually based on your date, location, hours and service option. Send an enquiry and we'll get back to you with pricing.
